| Saturday | Aug. 08 | Syracuse Chiefs | Rock Against Cancer | 1st Annual Strike Out Childhood Cancer Night | The Bulls players and coaches will wear special jerseys, which will be auctioned off along with other items to benefit kids battling cancer. Community organizations serving children with cancer will be participating and be giving away free awareness materials. A fireworks show will immediately follow the game, which will include a lighting of candles in the outfield to remember and honor children afflicted with cancer called the Field of Memories. Afterwards, a post game concert with The High and Mighties will commence with all proceeds benefiting Rock Against Cancer. $4 from each $12 ticket package purchased and $5 from each $5 concert ticket purchased will go to Rock Against Cancer. All Silent Auction proceeds will also benefit Rock Against Cancer and children battling cancer. |
